Two pieces: a companion on your Mac, and the app on your iPhone.

1. The Mac companion

Homebrew is the easiest route — it keeps itself up to date afterwards.

brew install --cask tjameswilliams/tap/opencodego

Or download it directly:

Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, and OpenCode — the companion will tell you if it can't find it. Signed and notarized by Apple.

2. The iPhone app

On the App Store. It does nothing on its own — it needs the companion above to talk to.

3. Pair them

  • Open the companion on your Mac and choose Pair iPhone…
  • Open the app on your iPhone.
  • Confirm both screens show the same six-digit code.

Both devices need to be signed into the same iCloud account — that is how they find each other without you configuring anything.
